Founded in 1997
Tejas Stone Works was founded in 1997 as a spin off of a landscape business owned and operated by Robert Parr since the early 1980's. The opportunity for growth was visible in the mid 1990's due to the demand and need for natural stone works. At that time, the primary focus had not graduated to stone designs, however after an accepted bid from a local proptery management company to replace and maintain their retaining walls it was clear that Tejas Stone Works needed to shift it's primary line of buisness to stone and masonary. As his exposure and reputation grew so did the opportunities for stone and masonary jobs. As a result, Tejas Stone Works was formed.
Why Now?
Robert Parr gravitated to doing just the stone work because the jobs seemed to be bigger, more challenging and more rewarding than the landscape jobs in which it was orginally formed. Most jobs also provided new aspect to interact with customers than did simply working the landscape business. Although both positions provided its own opportunities and techniques, stone and mansory work became a new love of art. Stone is majestical in its natural state and it was an opportunity to captivate the natural beauty into structures that last a lifetime.
What's next
Tejas Stone Works will continue to strive for excellence and satisifed customers. Our primary advertistement is word of mouth so if our work is subpar so will the business growth. This web presence is available to new customers that might not get to speak to those hundreds of satisified customers. We are hoping to provide the same level of quality in web presence.
